Key facts

Floor: 56 marble inlay panels, only fully uncovered August-October. Worth timing your visit if possible.
Piccolomini Library: Pinturicchio frescoes in a hidden side room. Do not skip.
Crypt and baptistery: separate entrances, included in the OPA Si Pass.
Facade: spend 5 minutes outside before going in. Sunset light on the marble is incredible.
Dress code: shoulders and knees covered. Scarves available at the door.
