What visitors ask
Plug type?
Mainly Type F (round, 2 pins) — same as Germany. Some older buildings Type L (3 pins in a line).
Voltage?
230V/50Hz. US chargers (laptop, phone) handle this — just need the plug shape.
Hair dryer/curling iron?
US 110V devices may burn out. Buy a dual-voltage travel one.
UK adapters?
Same plug situation — bring a UK→EU adapter.
Hotel outlets?
Often only 1–2 by the desk. Bring a small power strip.
Local tip
The €15 'universal adapter' from Amazon covers all of Europe + UK + US in one. Worth it.
