Siena's train station is in the lower town, a steep walk or short bus from the center. If pizza is the goal that night, here is the geography.
The ranking
1. La Napoletana 2.0 — Viale Sardegna 37
Realistically the best option from the station side of town. ~15 minutes on foot from the station, or 1 bus stop. Wood-fired Neapolitan, 50 Top Pizza-listed, €12–16 pizzas. Drop bags at the hotel, walk down for dinner.
2. Pizzeria del Buongustaio
On the way up to the center.
3. Avoid station-square pizzerias
Convenient, forgettable.
Local tip
If you're train-in train-out the same day, eat in town center instead — the station area has no destination food.
